**  Updated 23/10/20 – We have decided, for various reasons, to close the site for the rest of October, Nov, Dec & Jan, we hope to re-open for February.  We will honour existing bookings, however if you wish to cancel we will not uphold our cancellation policy and will refund any payments made.  We also ask that anyone from a TIER 2 or TIER 3 area does NOT travel to or stay on our site, if you have booked and you are from these areas please let us know immediately and we will cancel & refund you.  Anyone booked who still wishes to stay please read the following, many thanks & stay safe.

PLEASE READ our updated Terms & Conditions before booking, updated in line with current Covid-19 guidelines.  A FEW IMPORTANT POINTS TO NOTE:  DO NOT TRAVEL if you are coming from a Tier 2 or 3 area.  It is important that we all behave responsibly and reduce travelling in and out of higher risk areas where possible.  If you do book and stay with us please be advised that we will not be providing PPE equipment so please come prepared yourselves with sufficient protection for using the communal areas – Bins/Electric Hook ups/Taps etc.  Those of you that have stayed with us before know that we are very hands off owners so you will not see us unless there is an emergency or issue, so social distancing from us will not be a problem.  Please check the notice board for emergency contact details.  Please obviously exercise respectful & required social distancing from your fellow guests, for the foreseeable future VISITORS ARE NOT ALLOWED on site AT ALL, any meet ups with friends or family must take place off-site.  To ensure you are all suitably distanced when set up we are also directing all guests to erect awnings to the left only when facing onto the pitch, this does mean most of you will need to put your outfits nose in if you wish to put up an awning, but we felt this would be preferable so your view is over the field rather than across to the hedge.  The only exception to this is pitch 3 where you can chose to erect your awning either side.  Thank you for your understanding.  Calvin & Stephanie. **

Sheringwood Caravan Club Site

Our site allows you to choose from five spacious level pitches, all with access to electric hook up’s, grey and foul emptying point on site, a recycle disposal area, drinking water outlets and free internet WiFi.

All pitches are hard standing shingled surface, 3 with surrounding grass for awnings, however please note that pitch 5 only has sufficient space for a porch or similar sized awning (see note above regarding current restrictions on awning erection at the moment).  All pitches are suitable for Motorhomes or caravans and are available all year round. The site is self-sufficient, the pitches are clearly marked and you will have already been allocated your pitch and invariably paid for your booking, therefore we feel there is no need for us to meet and greet you. We also take the view that you are on your holiday and may not wish to be disturbed so you will very rarely see us on the site. However, if you need to speak to someone whilst staying on the site please drop us an email in the first instance or for something more urgent contact details are displayed on our notice board.

There is a maximum of two dogs welcomed per pitch.

The freshly mowed grass, surrounding woodland and idyllic scenic views make this one of the most peaceful locations to come and enjoy your time away. It really is a true jewel along the North Norfolk coast.

With the beach less than a mile from the site, you can enjoy a leisurely stroll through Upper Sheringham woods, inhabited by an array of Norfolk wildlife. Alternatively you can take a trip through the town centre and visit the many interesting shops, pubs, restaurants, tea rooms and the Sheringham Little Theatre. You could even spend a day on the North Norfolk railway enjoying some of the coastal countryside views.

Only five miles away is Cromer, one of the most popular coastal towns in Norfolk where you can walk along the famous Cromer Pier, go fishing, or visit the Royal Cromer Golf Club.

With supermarkets and petrol stations nearby you’ll never run out of the necessities you need.

We have an advanced online booking policy, allowing you to book and secure the pitch of your choice, along with access to dates and availability of each pitch. Following your booking we will send you a Paypal invoice for the deposit due & balance (or just balance if arrival is within 1 month). The deposit becomes due immediately, the balance 1 month before arrival, please allow a couple of days for the invoice to be generated and emailed. You do not need a Paypal account to pay this, you can pay using any debit/credit card.

All in all, Sheringwood Caravan Club Site offers a relaxing holiday destination with something interesting for everyone.

Some extracts from Customer Reviews:

2nd September 2017, Guest from Spalding:

This site is beautiful, well located only about 1 mile from the sea and lovely sand and shingle beaches. The pitches are hard standing with lovely views over parkland.

Lovely stay on this site. Very peaceful with some great walks into the woods. We walked into Sheringham and also to the pretty corner tea shop. Booking was all done online and was very straight forward. Will definitely want to stay on this site again soon.

Fantastic little site. Great location. We loved it. Great place from which to explore North Norfolk Coast. We went to see the grey seal pups at Blakeney Head.

06 Feb 2018, Guest from Pluckley:

This was our first stay at Sheringwood and we could not fault the location. We have two dogs and walked daily through the woods to Sheringham where you can also take the dogs on the beach. The site is small, very clean, overlooking fields and woodland and has all the amenitities readily available in terms of waste disposal, bins etc. Although booking is solely via email, the Owners are very helpful.
